Bongani has woken up and is 'moody' looks like mood
swings! Because of Christmas season the 'piece jobs' are scarce.
He knows Sandy is expecting a huge brai and just
'moroho' from her vegetable garden and eggs with pap won't make him feel like
the Boss.
Since he still wants to be the Boss, he picks a fight.
"Give your kids the fried eggs, I want mine fried with water! And add some
'Acha'."
Sandy goes to make the eggs with water and when she
serves them, he says I have lost my appetite, you took too long! When Bongani
is fierce Sandy was advised not to talk to hubby lest he blows up and hits her.
Sandy calls her friend for advice and she suggests that
she should borrow some meat and just roast for him to cool him down. Bongani
smells the flavour and realises New Year is sorted. He sits under the tree to
imply he is ready for the meal.
Sandy serves with a smile and says, this is made with
love! 'Yo batumu' now the friends in the
neighbour hood are gossiping but Sandy is determined to make it work.
Bongani is now talking loudly, promising journeys with
Sandy and they start laughing together.
After eating he calls Tabang his son, "tell your
mother she should be cooking like this." Eish! Respect.
